The government has changed the legislation on incorporated societies (The Incorporated Societies Act 2022, passed on 6 April 2022), and this has some impact on both the Residents’ Association’s constitution and some of our practices. As a result, we need to change the constitution and have the changes approved by the Annual General Meeting on 11 October 2023.

Residents’ Association 2021 AGM

The Pukerua Bay Residents’ Association is holding the 2021 Annual General Meeting of the Association:

Sunday 17 October 2021, starting at 3:00 PM (ical)
Venue: Pukerua Bay School and Community Hall (map)

The agenda and reports will be available on the website from Wednesday 13 October.

The meeting will be held under the protocols applicable to COVID-19 Alert Level 2.

After formal business there will be an opportunity for attendees to cast their ballot on the designs submitted for the Chorus Cabinet Art Project, for the Chorus Cabinet at the corner of Wairaka Road and Rawhiti Road.

2019 Annual General Meeting

We’re holding our 2019 Annual General Meeting on 31 October.

We will publish the confirmed agenda very soon – we hope to have some interesting speakers.

We’re also looking for volunteers to join the committee as we have a couple of vacancies. It’s a great way of getting involved in your community.

Everyone who lives in Pukerua Bay or who owns property here is a member of the Association and is very welcome to come to any of our meetings.

The He Ara Pukerua heritage group has installed information boards at heritage sites, the community garden and food forest has plants in the ground, and we have supported a number of community activities.
